The Hammonton Rotary Club will present its Fifth Annual Homemade Wine Tasting Event 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 at Hammonton Fire House No. 2, 51 N. White Horse Pike in Hammonton, N.J. Registration begins at 6:30.
You be the judge as you pick your favorites from dozens of the finest homemade wines in the area.
Prizes will be awarded for the best tasting wines in various categories, chosen by our panel of experts and by you who will join fellow patrons in selecting the people’s choice awards.
In addition to this unique wine tasting opportunity, patrons will be treated to a buffet dinner by Rocco’s Townhouse. Whether you make wine or not, the evening promises to be great fun.
Admission is a $30 which includes a souvenir wine glass.
Proceeds will support the Hammonton Rotary Scholarship Fund, Little League team sponsorship, Bull Dogs basketball sponsorship, Hammonton Youth Soccer sponsorship, the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program, a yearly commitment to support the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, and a 2010 donation to buy a K-9 Dog for the Hammonton Police Department.
Attention Wine Makers
Wine entries are $5 per wine. You may enter as many wines as you like.
Three bottles (750 ml) of each homemade wine will be needed per entry. All wines and entry forms must be dropped off by April 9, 2010 for judging. Awards will be given to top wines in each category.
