Rotary presents scholarships to Errera, Henshaw

Mark Errera accepts scholarship from Don DeFiccio

Hammonton Rotary Club Secretary Don DeFiccio presents the 12th Annual Hammonton Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship to Mark Errera.

The Hammonton Rotary Club presented the 2012 Hammonton Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship during its 55th annual changeover dinner Friday, July 27, at Rocco’s townhouse in Hammonton.

While in most years the club presents one award, this year two were chosen because of the quality of the applicants received.

One of the recipients is Lynette Henshaw. The 2012 HammontonHigh School graduate and the daughter of Larry and Louise Henshaw, will be attending the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where she will be studying pharmacy.

Also receiving the award is Mark Errera. The son of Don and Debbie Errera is a 2012 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Hammonton. He will be attending RowanUniversity in the fall to study accounting.

Each scholarship recipient will receive $500 a year for four years to be applied to the cost of their college education.

The Rotary Club of Hammonton Foundation is a tax-exempt organization that was formed by the Hammonton

Rotary Club for the sole purpose of granting scholarships to students in the Hammonton area for their college education. It is funded by the generosity of Hammonton area residents who attend, sponsor, and support the Rotary Club’s golf tournament, champaign breakfast, wine event and other fundraisers throughout the year.
