Counting our blessings on Thanksgiving

On this Thanksgiving Day, it’s important to remember how fortunate most of us are to not have to worry about where our next meal is coming from. Unfortunately, many among us are not so fortunate. For several years now the Hammonton Rotary Club has had the honor of supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, located in the basement of the St. Joseph Convent in Hammonton, with donations of time and treasure. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of countless people in the Hammonton community, including the loyal supporters of the Hammonton Rotary Club,  hundreds of local families have had support with the basic necessities of life when they needed it most. Today we are thankful for our blessings, and thankful to all of you who help make the continued support of the less fortunate among us possible.
