HAMMONTON – Hammonton first responders will be getting some new, potentially life-saving equipment thanks to a donation from the Hammonton Rotary Club and its many community supporters who helped make the donation possible.

The presentation was made June 19, at the Hammonton Rotary Club’s annual installation dinner at Rocco’s Town House. Hammonton Fire Department Assistant Chief John Warren, Jr. accepted a check for $1,500 on behalf of the fire department. The money will be used to purchase two carbon monoxide monitors: one each for firehouse No. 1 and firehouse No. 2.

The Hammonton Rotary Club’s fire department contribution is made possible through the generosity of the Hammonton community who support the club through donations and by patronizing its fundraisers, including its annual breakfast, Hammonton Wine Festival and its upcoming Fall Fest in October.
