Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Hammonton Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship through the June 5th, 2020 application deadline.

The Hammonton Rotary Club Foundation will be awarding a $500 scholarship to a college-bound student from the Greater Hammonton area. To be eligible the applicant must be graduating high school in 2020 and plan on continuing their education at an accredited college, university or secondary trade school.

New this year, there will be a video component where applicants will present their community service, leadership, and academic accomplishments. Scholarship finalists will then attend a virtual personal interview with members of the Hammonton Rotary Club Scholarship Selection Committee.

To apply for this year’s award, eligible candidates must first complete the downloadable scholarship application/essay that can be accessed at the link below. It is a Google Document that can be accessed, downloaded and/or saved via Word document before completing.

Following the receipt of applications/essays, applicants will be contacted by our Selection Committee with directions on how to complete and submit their own application video. A personal video will allow our applicants to express their eligibility for this year’s award, in their own words. During these times of nearly all virtual communication, we feel video (15 minutes or less) is the best way to speed up our interview process and give applicants a more unique way to express themselves and why they are deserving of the scholarship.

Finally, following the receipt of applications and video submissions, selected applicants will take part in a virtual personal interview via Zoom with our Selection Committee.

We are excited for your interest in this year’s Hammonton Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship and are looking forward to receiving your application submissions.

Any questions regarding the application process, what is required, or issues with submitting your information, please reach out to Nick Goblirsch, Scholarship Selection Chair, at

Good luck to all of you!
