The Sweetwater 5K, originally scheduled for Oct. 1, has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 15.

This family friendly run is open to all ages. Monetary awards will be given to the top three male and the top three female finishers.

The Rotary Club of Hammonton is teaming up with the Healthy Kids Running Series to present the inaugural race at the Sweetwater Riverdeck and Marina. The event gets under way at 9 a.m.

First-place finishers win $500.

Runners will receive a t-shirt and each age division will be awarded first- to third-place medals male and female.

Entry fee is $40. Proceeds benefit the sponsoring organizations.
