The 2023 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program is returning to Stockton University for four days and three nights in June and the Hammonton Rotary Club is looking for high school juniors to apply.

RYLA is for members of the class of 2024 from throughout South Jersey. Set for June 25-28 on the campus of Stockton University in Galloway, it is being organized and presented by Rotary District 7505.

For a chance to win an all-expenses-paid Hammonton Rotary Club sponsorship for this program, you must live in or attend high school in the Greater Hammonton (08037) area. 

Applications are due April 2. TO APPLY CLICK HERE Selection will be based on leadership potential, citizenship, and your desire to attend the conference. 

Participants will be joined by more than 100 other young people selected by Rotary Clubs from throughout southern New Jersey. 

Prepare to be entertained, challenged, and enriched by motivational speakers, team-building experiences, and eye-opening discussions while in the company of a diverse group of students who are just as eager as you are to get the most out of life’s opportunities. Participants will learn communication skills, creative problem solving, and build confidence in themselves and their team while having fun and making new friends.

The program takes place under the guidance and supervision of professional counselors and educators, and requires medical clearance and consent from parents or guardians. 

This year’s participants are NOT required to have a COVID vaccine. Finalists will be contacted for an interview, either virtual or face to face.
